For some reason in these developments, they don't seem to think you need shower enclosures.
They're almost done now, but they were replanting the palm trees, as they die on a regular basis in this particular location...problems with irrigation. The rule in Doha is...when in doubt, throw labor at the problem.
While I was waiting for people to pick me up on my last day on this trip, I decided to walk around the Ritz...literally. The temperature was comfortably in the low 100s, and dry, so you don't know you're sweating. I think long-sleeve white shirts are going to be the best for the climate. This is heading right from the front entrance. I will make my way down as far right as it goes, then go counterclockwise.

It's hard to make out, but the leftmost part of the buildings across the way are the apartment buildings I want to live in.
The wonderful color of the water doesn't come out here that well, sadly...
